Hanna and Matthew met at undergrad at App State; her roommate was from the same town as Matthew and introduced them. Matthew asked Hanna out several times before she said yes! Once she said yes, the rest is history! They will be getting married this fall on a Christmas tree farm in the same town that Matthew grew up in.
Hanna’s parents live in Florida. When they were in Florida visiting her parents, Matthew got down on one knee. He had some of both of their friends there to celebrate right away with them. Hanna did help pick out her beautiful ring, but she had no clue that the proposal was going to happen the day it did! I love that it was a big surprise and that their friends were there to celebrate immediately!
I love when our couples bring something that makes the session even more personal; Matthew’s favorite restaurant is McDonalds and they brought some nuggets and fries; one of the photos of them sharing their meal even made it to the back of their Save the Date invite. Prior to their engagement session, Hanna reached out and said they were up for anything and would love an extra fun session. That email made me even more excited, and I think we nailed it!
