Back in October, I offered Black Friday sessions and they sold out incredibly quickly! I’m thrilled the share some of the images from the sweet families that booked the spots!

Do these faces look familiar? I shot a sunflower session of Dylan and Parker back in the summer!

April reached out with the intention of getting some updated family photos to give as a gift to her mom. I love that I got to photograph these moments for them! How precious are Dylan and Parker?

The next session was extra special because Andie is one of my best friends! We’ve known each other for years, were roommates after college, and were in each other’s weddings. Andie, her husband, Patrick and Clara, the cute little one, were visiting from Colorado.

Boy, what a treasure it was to shoot four generations during this session. I don’t think anyone’s smile dropped for a second- everyone was enjoying each other’s presence and soaking up Clara’s smiles.

Robin and her family were the next session. Robin and I work together, and this was the first time I got to meet her husband, Thomas, daughter-in-law, Ashley, and her cute grandkids, Kayla and James.

James was a little shy at the beginning of the session, but after some super hero talk he warmed right up! He and Kayla loved getting to give each other kisses and hugs- how sweet is that?

These are a few faces that also might look familiar! I took some photos of Grace and Lincoln earlier this year.

It was so much fun getting to take photos of the whole Goodman family this time! The interaction between Grace and Lincoln and their parents, Natalie and Chris was just so enjoyable to watch. Their interactions were full of joy!

Unbeknownst to the families, I set up a little holiday backdrop to help make their holiday photos extra memorable and as a way to say thank you for booking up the spots so quickly!

The surprise went over well, and I think the photos turned out darling. I asked each family to bring a book that is meaningful to them during the holiday season, and I think the photos of the family and kids reading together is a unique keepsake of our time together.

I can’t believe the Black Friday Mini Sessions have already come and gone, but I’m already thinking about a plan for holiday minis next year!
