Aren’t Caitie and Jonathan the cutest?! They met in high school and were close friends Junior year. They reconnected about a year ago and then started dating about three months after that. I love that they have a foundation of friendship and that they’ve known each other for about six years before dating- I think it’s so sweet & cool that the timing worked out for them!
Caitie and Jonathan got engaged in March and will be married this spring! I love that they’re also having a short engagement. When Jonathan proposed, it was just the two of them in their pjs in his bedroom; Caitie said “it was perfect!” Jonathan had actually planned on waiting to propose in May, when Caitie is finished with school, but he said he couldn’t wait any longer and said, “I was tired of the ring sitting in the closet. It belonged on her hand!” How adorable is that?!
When it comes to Caitie’s ring, she mentioned to Jonathan that she wanted an infinity band, but that was all she shared. Jonathan choose the ring and it’s such a pretty ring! I think it’s so sweet that the ring and proposal was a surprise. Their engagement session took place where their wedding ceremony & reception is taking place in Clayton, and Jakub and I are so excited!
