Welcome to the world, Lily Claire Sabourin!
It’s hard to believe little Lily is here already, and born during a pandemic no less! I want to assure you that all possible precautions were taken to maintain the healthy and safety of this sweet family. No hugs were given and masks were worn. While I’ve never done a newborn session while wearing a mask, one thing remained the same— the adoration and wonder that truly fills a home when a newborn arrives.
It was a true joy getting to witness and capture the love that surrounds Lily. Her big brothers, Ian and James, were so delicate with her and so excited to take pictures with her! When I asked James what his favorite thing about his new baby sister was he said, “holding her!” I knew right then we had to get a photo of him holding her, and pure sweetness ensued! You can see the pure adoration, tenderness and delight Jen and Philippe have with Lily in the photos below. The lifestyle images of Lily stretching on a quilt are special because Jen has made each of her children a quilt; you can see it on her crib, but I wanted to get some of Lily laying on her handmade quilt too.
Isn’t Lily the sweetest?! There’s just something magical about the little yawns and newborn fingers, toes, and little smiles. I’m delighted to have taken her newborn photos and their first family of five photos, and I can’t wait to see how much Lily grows in the next few months. The Sabourin’s chose the Grow With Me Package, so I have the opportunity to capture Lily at six months and 12-months!
