I had so much fun with this session! Jodi and Kevin are just one of those couples you meet and just know that they’re meant for each other. They have a true love that I think radiates in all their photos. They were so cute & sweet with each other; they couldn’t help but whisper and giggle throughout the session.
Jodi and Kevin met online and are getting married this month! When I asked if there was a story about the proposal, they both laughed and it started off with, “well…” These two are so playful that I knew a good story was coming!
Kevin and Jodi planned a trip up to the NC mountains in the winter. Kevin had a feeling that Jodi knew he was going to propose, so he planned on waiting until they were on the way back from the trip to propose, maybe at a rest stop or gas station (The Office vibes anyone?!) Kevin even told Jodi’s dad he was going to wait as long as possible on the trip to propose, but when they arrived at the cabin there was snow falling outside. Kevin said it was just too perfect to not seize the moment and propose right then!
I cannot wait to document these two laughing lovebirds’ wedding this month and celebrate alongside them!
I love incorporating personal touches to engagement sessions. I think it’s a really special way to celebrate you as a couple and the special season of life being engaged with your sweetheart! Kevin is in law enforcement and they wanted to use the LEO flag in our session.
