Goodness, I ‘m sitting here trying to find the words to describe how special it was for me to capture this newborn session, but I simply can’t find the perfect words that truly encompass how incredibly special it was to meet Maren and photograph her precious and perfectness.
Maren Leigh is so incredibly loved by so many, and Jakub and I can’t wait to spoil her silly! I cannot wait to give Maren alllllll the kisses and big hugs as soon as it’s safe. Maren’s Mimi, Luke’s mom, and GG, Julia’s mom, were present, so we made sure get some photos of Maren with her grandmas.
If you remember from Julia & Luke’s pregnancy announcement and their maternity session, Julia and I were freshman roomies at State and Luke lived across the hall. Julia mentioned that she got a little teary while watching me work with and photograph her little bundle of joy, and goodness I feel the same way.
It’s so incredibly touching when anyone selects me to photograph their newborn, but when it’s one of your closets friends…gosh, it’s just that much more special.
I cannot wait to watch Maren grow up! She has the best parents, and I can’t wait to see her little personality develop. I’m so excited I also get to photograph her at 6-months and 12-months, as part of the Grow With Me Package.
