These are a few of my favorite things...

Hugs & kisses from my husband brighten any day! A fun fact about Jakub and me is that we met and married within seven months– best decision ever!

Our darlings Millie & Theo bring us such joy and the sweetest cuddles.

There's hardly anything I enjoy more than setting off to explore a new destination. Jakub and I are avid travelers and love discovering new-to-us cities every year. We try to visit two new destinations yearly.

It's so incredibly special to spend time together with loved ones creating memories. Whether it's laughing in the living room, hanging out on my grandparent's porch, or jet setting to a fun location, moments together make my heart happy.

I love the pop of color and the scent fresh flowers add to a room. Hands down my favorites are peonies, but any flower will do! Jakub brought me white daisies on our first date and red roses on our second.

I have a mega sweet tooth...I love pretty much all desserts! Chocolate cakes, macaroons, delicate pastries...let me try them all! Fun fact: this picture is one of Jakub and I's wedding cakes! We had several different flavored bundt cakes; you can tell that it was a hot day when we were married...the icing started to melt and the cakes started to slip!

I've always loved the holidays AND Jakub and I got engaged Christmas morning. The weather, the decorations, the desserts, the holiday special flavors (give me all things peppermint, please!) and spoiling friends and family are all keystones of a happy holiday season in my book. I love reading a good book (or watching a holiday movie) all while the Christmas tree is lit in the corner. There's just something so magical about the holidays.

Black & white stripes are my favorite and it's my go-to to wear. Some love a little black dress or a power suit; I love stripes and a fun skirt (or a striped skirt!) I also love polka dots! When in doubt, I'll probably be wearing one of these two patterns.

I also love glitter & confetti. What's more fun than celebrating with one of these? My philosophy with glitter is that more is more! Give me all the glittery shoes, dresses and purses. The photo to the right is from Jakub and I's wedding; you can see my dress was covered in lace & sparkles, but I also wore glittery tennis shoes!

We love hockey, and have a mini-season ticket pass to the Hurricanes. I grew up watching the 'Canes and hockey is the national sport in the Czech Republic (where my sweet husband is from.)

If I had to pick between the beach and the mountains, I'd have to go with the beach. There's just something ultra relaxing about hearing the waves crash. I'm always up for a day on the beach with a little bit of shade, a cooler of drinks and a new book.
