Meet Cassidy & Nik; I absolutely loved getting to meet these two in-person for their engagement session! Previously, we had only chatted via email and “met” via Google Hangout. Did you know if you’re not in the Raleigh area, or prefer not to meet in person first, I offer meetings via Google Hangout if you have any questions about wedding packages? I meet all of my wonderful couples in some form before a contract is signed, so everyone feels comfortable and confident.
Okay, okay— enough details! On to more information about Cassidy and Nik, so you can see their engagement pictures! Cassidy and Nik live about an hour outside of Raleigh and were sweet enough to drive into Raleigh for our session. They said they made a day date out of it and explored the city— how sweet is that? When we were done with our session they were headed to dinner for date night. I just love that they made the day of their engagement session into a date day!
These two lovebirds met in high school and have been dating for six years. Throughout the session they were kind, sweet, comfortable with each other, and just a joy to be around.
I think in the images below you can truly see their love shining through. I cannot wait to celebrate alongside them in June for their wedding day and capture the next chapter in their love story!
Did you know that my husband, Jakub, is my second shooter for weddings? Sometimes he joins me for other sessions to keep his skills sharp, like this engagement session. I thought it would be fun to show you my favorite image he took from this session. Look below, isn’t that the best angle? I love having a second shooter because everyone’s perspective and creativity is different; it’s also helpful when capturing multiple angles of the same pose.
