Emily and I have known each other for what seems like forever! We grew up in the same church and I was so extremely thrilled when she and Danny chose me to capture their wedding day! Jakub and I had so much fun with Emily & Danny walking around UNC campus and taking photos. It rained right when we were going to start shooting, but these two were game to start the session, even though it was still drizzling.
Isn’t Emily’s ring beautiful? Danny looked at her Pinterest page for inspiration, but didn’t have any help picking it out! Emily and Danny met at UNC and also got engaged at the Old Well- I love that UNC (and the Old Well in particular) have played such an important role in their love story and now they have engagement photos there as well. Danny popped the question at night and had a whole speech memorized (how sweet is that?!) He said he knew exactly how long the speech would take, so he started the speech near the Old Well while they were walking there, so he would end exactly when they arrived at the Old Well. Once at the Old Well, Danny got down on one knee and asked Emily if she would marry him.
