The last few weeks have been full of family sessions and I’m feeling so thankful!
In late October, I had the best time hanging out with Emily and her daughter GiGi, the Ellinwood family, Charline & Joel and their children, and the Brunengraber family.
Emily and I work together, but this was my first time meeting her daughter, GiGi. They were so sweet and funny with each other during the session- we were all giggling at some points! Emily wanted to recreate a photo they had taken about 10 years ago, and it turned out so cute! I love that they have an updated image to compare it to!
I hadn’t seen the Ellinwood family in years, back when Olivia was a toddler, and it was so nice to see them.
Aren’t they a gorgeous family?! Olivia, Norah Kate, and Evelyn did such a good job during the whole session (and how adorable are their outfits?!) Hollie and her husband, Harrison mentioned wanting to use one of the photos for their living room- I can’t wait to see which one they pick!
Charline and I used to work together at the first preschool I ever worked at! She is one of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met; she treats everyone with such kindness.
These are the first full family pictures they’ve had taken, and I’m so honored they chose to work with me. Their kids had such a good time during the session; you can tell that they are close!
This was my first time meeting the Brunengraber family, and they were a true treat to photograph.
Craig and Jessica mentioned wanting a few photos of brick, and I love how this background turned out! Their kids, Jacob and Talia were the sweetest. Talia gave me the biggest hug at the end of our session!
The weekend following the mini sessions at the Museum of Art, I had the pleasure of shooting the Caplain family.
I’ve known Jen, Jason, Katie, Emily and Evan for about nine years! I was Katie’s first preschool teacher, and I’ve known Emily and Evan their whole lives. This family just makes me smile when I think of them!
We had fun walking around Historic Yates Mill Park! I can’t wait to shoot here again; doesn’t it make the prettiest backdrop?
I’m so thankful that these families chose to work with me and spend time making and preserving memories.
