I was excited to see Kate in her bridal wear for the first time. Doesn’t she make a beautiful bride? We had her bridal session just five days before her wedding, due to Covid-19 delays with her dress and alterations.

I was thrilled to be able to capture this session at Summerfield Farms. If you haven’t had the chance to explore Summerfield Farms, I would highly recommend checking it out. Not only is it a stunning venue, but it’s a working farm and oh, so charming!

Kate brought her mom, Joyce, and her best friend Priscilla, to her bridal session. Peep down below for a behind-the-scene shot! I highly recommend bringing a friend or two and/or a family member to your session. It’s such a special time to make memories, and it’s super helpful to have extra hands to help hold your bouquet, adjust your veil, let you know if you hair needs a quick fluff, fix your train, and just laugh and soak in the magic of seeing you as a bride!

I was thrilled we were able to shoot part of Kate’s bridal session under the “Little Tree.” (Side note: there’s nothing small about this tree! I want to see where the “big tree” is! Ha!) Kate and Nick exchanged their “I Do’s” under Little Tree, and I think it’s so special that they’ll have bridal photos at the same location.
