Remember Kate’s dreamy bridal session at Summerfield Farms from a couple of weeks ago? I was so excited to go back to this location for their wedding!
Not only was Kate & Nick’s wedding at a beautiful backdrop, there were so many artful, personal touches that were mainly done by the bride’s mom, Joyce. I love that her personal touch is seen in so many places throughout the wedding day! The wooden ring box? Joyce took a jewelry box that Kate’s grandmother got when she was engaged and made it into a ring box. All the handwritten signs? Done by Joyce! She is so talented.
One of my favorite things to see on a wedding day are the personal touches that each couple chooses to make their wedding day uniquely them. Another favorite on wedding days are the spontaneous moments that ultimately become the memories that stick out the best. One of those moments occurred right when toasts were ending; Nick’s daughter, unplanned, hopped up on stage and gave the sweetest toast. She was so excited for Nick and Kate and said that Kate was going to be “the best mommy!”
