Two weekends ago, Jakub and I had the absolute joy of going to visit friends who we haven’t seen in ages. Kathryn and Derek were living in Norway for the past three years, so our visits were about once-a-year. While we chatted on the phone a lot, there’s nothing like seeing your best friends in person.
The last time we chatted on the phone, Kat mentioned that they hadn’t had any professional photos taken since their wedding almost seven years ago. I knew I wanted to surprise them by bringing my camera and getting a few updated photos of them! I’m thrilled with the results; the dreamy beach lighting, the laughter, and photographing their connection was a blast!
Of course we had to end the session with Jakub getting a few updated best friend shots of Kathryn and I! The last photos we have together were from about three years ago in San Francisco!
