Kayla and Austin met through a mutual friend who also works at the 911 call center than Kayla works at; they added each other on social media and then started dating! Kayla and Austin picked out the ring together at Bailey’s and it’s exactly what Kayla wanted & envisioned.
The proposal was somewhat of a surprise. Kayla asked about it the night before and Austin didn’t get it away, but Kayla said she had a feeling it was going to happen soon! She said she had a feeling the night he proposed because Austin got dressed up, and he doesn’t usually dress up. Austin proposed at Beulaville’s Christmas Tree Light Display and got down on one knee when she was distracted by a light display where they were putting out fresh cookie dough!
