This session was so much fun! Laura and Collin shared so many smiles and laughs during our engagement session at Beacon Heights in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you peek at the images below, I think you’ll agree that their love for one another shines through in the images.
Laura and Collin love to travel; Collin even proposed at the base of the Space Needle in Seattle! Asheville was their first trip they took together, so the mountains hold a special place in their hearts. We hiked up Beacon Heights a little before sunset, and I love that you can see the varying light in the photos; the warm light from late afternoon sun, the beautiful gold tones that come through during sunset, while the bright blues of the mountains shine through the majority of our session.
Like Jakub and I, Laura and Collin are huge hockey fans and brought their jerseys to change into towards the end of session. I absolutely love this fun outfit change!
Jakub came along for this engagement session, and he was able to take a few drone shots of this sweet couple and stunning backdrop. Check out some of the drone photos below! Did you know that we have a DJI Mavic 2 Pro? Drone photos are part of wedding packages III and IV, and provide a way to get some incredible angles I just can’t get with my Canon.
