Shalyn and Colby met in middle school and have been dating since 2016. In fact, the day of our engagement session was their six year anniversary! It was so incredibly special to spend part of their anniversary with them!
Colby proposed to Shalyn on the East end of Holden Beach, which is a little more private than the other side of the beach. After Colby and Shalyn had dinner at one of their favorite seafood restaurants, they went for a walk on the beach. Shalyn said she was totally surprised and started crying before Colby got down on one knee. Colby had Shalyn’s parents and sister hide out on the public beach access to take photos of the moment! Colby picked out Shalyn’s beautiful ring without any hints or tips from Shalyn.
