To close out the end of summer, I offered for the first time, micro mini sessions! These were too much fun and I’ll definitely offer them again next year.
These were supposed to be at the sunflower field at the Museum of Art, but the sunflowers got scorched over the holiday weekend and were not photogenic. The two sweet families below were game to move our session to the rose bushes by the art buildings.
Rachel, Jeremy and baby Rob were first. Right when their session was about to start…the skies opened up and poured! They were up for waiting, and when the quick summer shower was through, we started our session. We even got a picture with a rainbow! Peek down below, isn’t the rainbow awesome? And how precious is baby Rob? These were the first professional photos this sweet family has had taken, and I’m honored that they trusted me to capture this precious season of life for them, when Rob is so little.
Jen and Lily were up next for the most delightful mommy & me session! You may remember Jen from her family maternity session and Lily’s newborn session. It was such a treat to see how much Lily has grown the past five months, and I can’t wait to capture Lily again next month for her 6-month milestone session! One of Lily’s big brothers, James, came to the session and they have such a special bond and connection. James loves to cuddle & kiss Lily, and make her laugh & smile. I have a feeling these two are going to be as thick as thieves! James helped coax smiles out of Lily throughout the session and towards the end asked for a special picture with his sister (melt my heart!)
