I had the absolute pleasure of shooting this family session this past Sunday!
Rachel booked this family session back in May! A mutual friend posted some images I shot of her kids on Facebook, and Rachel said she immediately needed to know who the photographer was- what a huge compliment!!
To say I was looking forward to meeting this family is an understatement. I wanted to get to know Rachel, Mike and their girls, Madison and Eleanor! Rachel and I were watching the weather closely since it was raining all Sunday morning, but we were thrilled when the rain stopped around noon!
We were able to keep our original time and date that we planned for so many months in advance, and we had the added benefit of clouds! Did you know that cloudy weather actually makes for perfect lighting?
Rachel wanted to take their family pictures at the NC Museum of Art because that’s where they had their engagement pictures taken 10 years ago- how sweet is that? I love that they will now have updated couple pictures, family pictures, and pictures of their girls in the same location.
How adorable are Madison and Eleanor?! They did so well during the whole session, and we shared so many giggles. They both have the sweetest, silliest disposition! This family was a joy to shoot, and I hope I get to capture them again!
